The hotel is 50m from a tram stop to teh centre of Basel. The hotrel also provides free (wired) internet, and provide a cable to connect.

Very large and comfortable room, quiet area.

Nobody in the reception from 20:00h. Breakfast could be better.

All the hotel seems to be very new and the facilities are very good.

Quiet environment - ease of access to centre of town

The hotel was clean and a good location for what I was seeking to do while in Basel.

Considering it is advertised as four star (and certainly has room rates reflecting this) it was disappointing there was no computer for guest use. Similarly there was no minibar in the room. As the hotel closes down at eight in the evening this means that you cannot get a drink on the premises in the evening. Reception closing at eight is again not really what I expect from a four star.

The service was excellent and staff were very accommodating friendly and polite.The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The premises were really beautiful, a mix of old and new and very clean.

The only restaurant at the hotel was expensive, although this was very nice it was not practical for a longer stay. Unfortunately there wasn't a Minibar or fridge in the room or tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel is clean, located in a quiet area and just a few tram stops away from the center of Basel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Overall, good value for money.

The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they offered the assistance with everything, even very small needs.

It is not really something bad, it is just so simple, the room gives impression of "sterile" and similar to hospital wards.

Calm place outside the city but with a very easy 10 mn tramway connection to the center of Basel. Good breakfast buffet. Helpful hotel staff.

Observance to detail. A little present on the bed, a friendly introductory letter, cleanliness in general and particularly in the bathroom a hotel will certainly recommend and use again

The restaurant. The wrong philosophy! Too greater emphasis on formalities and not enough concentration on the actual food! If I want art I go to an exhibition! Presentation should not be more important than the food itself. The prices are far too high. Exclusivity is not a replacement for food quality. I wasn't impressed!

Noise from room above - had to ask to be moved.

Great location for exploring Basel, tram outside very convenient to get into city centre, lovely rooms and great breakfast.
